After school on Friday, the governor of Illinois (J.B. Pritzker) announced that all schools will be closed from March 17 to March 30. I will see you all on Monday morning to tell you about our new class website (HINT: You are reading it right now!). While we won't be able to see each other during that time, we can still learn together!
I know many of you are probably scared of all that is happening right now. We have talked about it in class. On Wednesday, we played with Germ Juice and learned how to wash our hands better so we can stay healthy. Focus on the things that you can do to stay healthy while we are apart:
Inside of your purple folder is: a calendar outlining things to do, worksheets, and directions. On the calendar you will see things marked with (W). Simply come here to the e-Learning page, click on the day and begin exploring all of the internet-based activities for learning I have planned for you. I have found so many neat things that we can do together while we are apart.
I hope you enjoy your e-Learning experience. I will miss seeing you each day. Hopefully we will be right back on track after spring break.
