It has been a crazy school year but the end of 2020-2021 is less than 30 days away! I have deleted all of the previous blog posts in preparation for next year.
I want to thank all of you for your feedback! It has been so helpful.
More links! I have received several emails from my students and families around the globe with ideas to add to our Edu-Sites Page. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help! I added almost all of the links received. Remember, if it goes to a social media page, I cannot include this as it is blocked by most districts including mine.
My students are asking for a list of all the things they should know. With all that has happened, they are worried that they are behind. So are parents. I am currently working on a list of things students should know by the end of 6th grade and creating it by grade level. It is a big task and I ask for patience with this. As always, if I missed something, let me know and I will add your ideas.
In my classroom, we read a book-a-day all year long to help us build our schema (knowledge and experience). This helps us become better readers. I share this on my teaching website but have been asked to share it here as well. I will be posting these in blog posts (and not deleting them) so you have an easy spot to reference them.
I plan to add these requests over the summer. I make no guarantees that I will get it all done but I will do my best.
